Tomorrow is International Women’s Day 2019, and we thought we’d share a few inspiring words from our fierce, fabulous founder and CEO, Maxine Laceby:

“I love being a woman. I think we are amazing. Someone asked me recently: ‘where did I learn about business?’  My answer was: I learned everything I know from being a mother, a sister, an auntie, a niece and a woman."

Every woman has the skills to become whatever they want to be. Always own who you are, love who you are and make your life a masterpiece at any age.

Maxine is the definition of a strong, empowered woman. At 51, she carved a whole new life for herself, going from a happy stay-at-home-mum to building a million-pound beauty business. She’s a reminder to women everywhere that it’s never too late to start going for it.

Her message to women everywhere is to fulfil your dreams and your potential whatever they may be. Even if you don’t know what that is just yet, get out there, have fun and explore. Something will present itself – all you have to do is be open to it and recognise when it’s happening.

No matter who you are, where you come from, what cards you have been dealt – you too can be whoever and whatever you want to be.
