Introduction: 

Absolute-Collagen Ltd ("Absolute Collagen") respects the privacy of every individual who visits our website and social media platforms. This policy outlines the information we collect and how we use it. This policy applies to information collected through our website and other sources, including Social Media and over the phone. This policy also applied to any customer who has purchased goods from Absolute Collagen and has a product subscription.

We only collect personal information on a voluntary basis. We do not require this information to obtain access to our website or our social media sites.

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) (2018) requires the Company to be open about the information that it holds on you and uses.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to processing of data. Please contact the Data Protection Officer in writing.

Data collected via our website:

If you visit our website, you have the option of opting into our email sign up. You will be asked for your name and email address. You will be asked which mailings you would like to be sent. You will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer or by clicking the unsubscribe button on the emails you receive from Absolute Collagen.  

Data collected when purchasing our products / signing up for a product subscription online:

When you purchase our products or sign up for our product subscription, you will be asked for your name, address, email address and (optional telephone number). These details will be stored by our website system Shopify, Inc. ("Shopify") or our subscription service Bootstrap Heroes LLC ("Recharge"). Both are GDPR compliant and have high user-data standards. Absolute Collagen does not process or store payment details.

PayPal Holdings, Inc. ("PayPal"), Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") and Amazon.com, Inc ("Amazon Pay") are used for all of our transactions online.

As part of your purchase you will be asked if you would like to receive our mailings and asked which ones you would like to be sent. You will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer or by clicking the unsubscribe button on the emails you receive from Absolute Collagen. 

Please note that you will receive some initial emails related to your transaction. These are automatic and end after a short period.

Data collected when purchasing our products / signing up for a product subscription over the phone: 

When you purchase our products or sign up for our product subscription over the phone, you will be asked for your name, address, email address and (optional telephone number). These details are stored on Shopify and Klaviyo Inc ("Klaviyo").

Your card details are processed and then disposed of securely and immediately. Subscriptions will be set up via Shopify and Stripe (payment gateway). No paper copies of card details will be retained.

Data collected via Facebook:

If you visit us on our Facebook page, you have the option of opting into our email sign up. You will be asked for your name and email address. You will be asked which mailings you would like to be sent. You will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer or clicking the unsubscribe button on the emails you receive from Absolute Collagen.  

Brand Ambassadors / affiliates:

If you request to become a Brand Ambassador of Absolute Collagen, we will require you to complete our online application form. We ask for the following information:

Name, address, social media handles, phone number and email address.

The application form is emailed to our Brand Manager and is then stored in Google Cloud. It is backed up via time machine and capsule. All data is encrypted.

Your details will be stored in our database and Klaviyo in order send out communications to you as part of your role as an ambassador.

We will make payments to Brand Ambassadors via bank transfer or PayPal.

If a Brand Ambassadors wishes to stop their relationship with the company, they can do so at any time. They should contact the Data Protection Officer and any details we hold will be securely disposed off immediately, including your PayPal details.

Please view this policy along side our Terms and Conditions for Brand Ambassadors. These can be found on our website and on our joining confirmation email.

Stockists:

If you would like to become a Stockist of Absolute Collagen, you will need to be approved.  You will be asked to complete our online application form. All data in this form is securely stored on our database. It is also stored in Klaviyo so we can send out communications to you as part of your role as a Stocklist.

Once you are approved by Absolute Collagen, you will be notified by email and will be able to access our partners site.

If a Stockist wishes to stop their relationship with the company, they can do so at any time. They should contact the Data Protection Officer and all details we hold will be securely disposed off immediately.

Klaviyo:

Your personal data that you give us is kept by the company via Klaviyo. Your personal information is only used to send you information that you have signed up for. This information is not passed on to any third party.

Our Klaviyo account is password protected and only authorised employees of the business can access this account. We review our security regularly.

Third party:

The company do not pass your data onto any third party.

Transparency and Choice:

You may at any time contact the company and ask what information we hold on your Company. You may ask us to update this information if it is incorrect, which we will strive to do as quickly as possible.

You may ask for your personal data to be deleted and requests should be made in writing to the Data Protection Officer.

You may ask for your information to be deleted from our mailing lists at any time. There is an unsubscribe button at the bottom of all mailings, however you may contact the company directly in order to unsubscribe.

What do do if you would like your data erased:

Please write to the Data Protection Officer if you wish for data to be erased. However, there may be circumstances where we are unable to do this (to fulfil our legal responsibilities).

Information Security:

All data is password protected and only accessible by authorised company staff. The company take appropriate cyber precautions and review our security regularly.

Changes:

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your explicit consent. We will inform you of any Policy changes at the earliest opportunity.
