Look back on 2022: Absolute Collagen's yearly recap

Wow Absoluters! What an incredible year 2022 has been, filled with some fantastic events! We loved being able to share these events and achievements with you and having you by our side through it all.

There was definitely a lot that happened this year at Absolute Collagen, so join Darcy, Maxine and Team AC as we recap on some of the best moments of 2022.

Haircare launch

We kickstarted the year with the launch of our first ever hair care range. The Absolute Collagen Complex Shampoo and Conditioner was created for you, our Absoluters. After asking what you wanted to see next from the brand, the most popular answer was haircare and so that’s exactly what we did. You asked and we delivered. Since the launch, the haircare duo has won numerous awards and has been recommended by top beauty experts. 

TV Advert

In summer Absolute Collagen hit the big screens with the debut of our first ever TV advert. This was an exciting venture for the brand, and what made it even more monumental was that the stars of the advert were 5 real Absoluters! We wanted to incorporate real customers in the campaign who come from all walks of life - from mothers to CEO’s. This was important for Maxine as she wanted to showcase what our brand is all about, feeling empowered and being your absolute best.

Becoming a Carbon Neutral Company

As one of our biggest company achievements of 2022, Absolute Collagen became a Carbon Neutral Company! We the official accreditation from Climate Partner, we also collaborated with them to aid third-party carbon offsetting initiatives around the world. This was a huge achievement for us, as one our biggest priorities is to increase the ways we can help the environment and global climate change.

Awards

2022 was a fantastic year where we won the most awards yet. Our collagen supplement, Maxerum and haircare duo all won accolades including Pure Global Beauty Awards and Marie Claire Beauty Awards. Not only did we win awards as a business, but Maxine and Darcy both personally won awards too for their inspiring work and entrepreneurial achievements. Darcy won the CEW Young Achiever Award and featured on the prestigious Forbes 30 under 30 list. We also ranked 4th on the highly respected Sunday Times fastest growing businesses of 2022!

Phew! Even we can't keep up with all these wins!

The year also comprised of many more milestones including celebrating our 5th birthday, our Absoluter brunches, being the official beauty partner for Good Housekeeping Live and much much more.

Going into 2023, we just want to say a big thank you and show our gratitude to all the wonderful Absoluters who got AC to where it is today, this wouldn't have been possible without you. We have some amazing projects lined up for 2023 so keep your eyes peeled.
