Autumn Hair Care Tips - Eva Proudman
October sees the seasons really starting to change, with the days becoming shorter and the nights longer we are all tempted to stay inside to keep warm and cosy.
In clinic at this time of year I see a lot more scaling conditions such as seborrheic eczema and psoriasis that tend to flare up as the seasons change.
As well as providing specialist scalp treatments I find that Absolute Collagen also helps to reduce the underlying inflammation, bringing the conditions under control much quicker and allowing them to be maintained with the correct shampoos and conditioners.
We must remember to eat protein in the winter and to keep hydrated and exercise too, yes these 3 things really do contribute to the overall condition of your hair and scalp.
The hair is made from a protein called Keratin and requires a balanced diet with ample protein to maintain its healthy growth and condition.
If protein is not sufficient the hair will become dull and dry and may even start to fall excessively, this is often a problem as we head into autumn and winter as we opt for comfort foods more.
To combat the onset of autumn and winter diet, a sachet of Absolute Collagen per day will provide the complete protein that the hair requires.
I am a dedicated #absoluter and my hair and scalp have never been in better condition!
